Trainer Sam works only at the gym. The gym adds Sam as a staff member; Sam consumes one of the gym's included trainer seats at no extra cost. Sam gets full access to her assigned schedule, session summaries, and payouts — all within the gym's context.

No — gyms and trainers never pay per athlete on their roster. You pay one flat monthly subscription regardless of how many athletes you serve. Gym Studio supports up to 200 athletes; Gym Facility supports up to 1,000. Athletes can optionally subscribe to the recruiting + game film package directly — separate from your business plan, and included free for athletes whose gym is on a paid tier.
An athlete who has had a booking, session, or program registration in the last 90 days. Inactive profiles don't count toward your tier limit.
We'll reach out, not auto-upgrade you. You can either upgrade to the next tier or stay where you are — soft limits, not hard caps.
Yes — we use Stripe Connect for online payments and coach payouts. Setup takes about 5 minutes, and Stripe handles the merchant account so you don't need to open a separate one. Cash bookings and in-person POS sales are also supported and don't require Stripe.
Stripe's standard processing fees apply (2.9% + $0.30). We don't add a surcharge on top — what Stripe takes is what gets deducted.
Transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, weekly recaps) are included. SMS reminders are included up to a fair-use limit per athlete. Bulk marketing email or SMS blasts to your full roster are on the roadmap.
Yes. Month-to-month, cancel any time. One-click CSV exports for everything — roster, bookings, programs, financials, session history — before you go. Open Admin → Data export and grab your data as individual CSVs or a single ZIP. Your data is yours.
Yes. Upload a CSV export of your athletes, coaches, or services from Mindbody, ClubReady, Acuity, or anywhere else, and a column-mapper helps you match their fields to ours. Sample templates are downloadable from /admin/import. Duplicate detection by email so you can re-run safely.
We pro-rate unused months on annual prepays minus a small admin fee. Month-to-month plans don't refund the current month, but won't renew.

Yes — Plan.Set.Goal installs to your phone's home screen on iOS and Android as a Progressive Web App, works offline for logging workouts, and supports push notifications. A native App Store / Play Store app is on the roadmap.
Hosted on encrypted infrastructure with daily backups. Athlete records, payment history, and booking data belong to your tenant only — we never sell tenant or athlete data. Card numbers are handled exclusively by Stripe; we never see or store them.
One subscription covers one location. Multi-location operators get custom pricing — see the enterprise callout above. Each location stays scoped to its own coaches, athletes, and books.
They'd add Trainer Solo on top. One Plan.Set.Goal account, multiple subscriptions if the contexts justify it. They can be a gym employee (free seat) AND have their own private practice. Their calendar combines both.
No — gyms can't bill athletes through Plan.Set.Goal. Athletes use the core platform free (profile, workouts, session history, family accounts). Athletes who want recruiting + game film tools subscribe to that package directly. If you're on a paid Gym tier, your athletes get the recruiting package included.
